Join us for an evening that promises mystery, intrigue, and a touch of vintage charm! The Edward C. Smith Civic Center, in collaboration with Davidson County Historical Museum and Lexington Public Library, is thrilled to present, “A Night With Agatha Christie”.

Step into the world of the Queen of Mystery in a way you’ve never experienced before. Begin your adventure at the Davidson County Historical Museum with a warm welcome at our hot tea and dessert bar. Then, enjoy a series of novel-inspired activities. Craft your own take-home memento, test your knowledge with Trivia, and challenge your detective skills as you unravel a mini-mystery.

But the intrigue doesn’t end there! We’ll invite you to take a short (.1 mile) journey down South Main Street to the historic Edward C. Smith Civic Center. Here, you’ll be greeted with complimentary wine and popcorn, setting the stage for a captivating screening of “Evil Under the Sun” at 8:00 pm. Starring Peter Ustinov as Hercule Poirot, and the incomparable Maggie Smith among other talents, this film (rated 92% on Rotten Tomatoes) will transport you right into a classic Christie mystery, all on the grandeur of the big screen.
