Step into the world of the Queen of Mystery in a way you’ve never experienced before. Begin your adventure at the Davidson County Historical Museum with a warm welcome at our hot tea and dessert bar. Then, enjoy a series of novel-inspired activities. Craft your own take-home memento, test your knowledge with Trivia, and challenge your detective skills as you unravel a mini-mystery.
But the intrigue doesn’t end there! We’ll invite you to take a short (.1 mile) journey down South Main Street to the historic Edward C. Smith Civic Center. Here, you’ll be greeted with complimentary wine and popcorn, setting the stage for a captivating screening of “Evil Under the Sun” at 8:00 pm. Starring Peter Ustinov as Hercule Poirot, and the incomparable Maggie Smith among other talents, this film (rated 92% on Rotten Tomatoes) will transport you right into a classic Christie mystery, all on the grandeur of the big screen.
